ProfileBuilder.com re-launches into private beta: "Online identity management company, Profile Builder LLC has re-launched it’s new private beta website at profilebuilder.com. The new version of Profile Builder is a dashboard to help users control all of their online activities by streaming all notifications, RSS, API from other sites, as well as an integrated email/calendar/notes section so users can receive all of their information in one place. The dashboard also offers widgets and collaboration on files, images, and interactive bookmarks with other users.
“This new build out is a complete overhaul of our old system, and we’re excited to get feedback from our beta users” says Boyan Josic, Founder and CEO of ProfileBuilder.com.
Other features include a profile management system that the company will license to other websites and social networks. “Other sites will be able to use our system and API to have updated information on their users at all times as well as eliminating the need for websites to continually try to get their users to fill out profiles on their sites. We do this for them” says Josic. “When you read through messages and comments on websites, you generally just see a user name and not much else, because people don’t want to fill out a complete profile on every site they go to.”

"Tokoni may look and feel like a run-of-the-mill social network at first glance, but as you dig deeper it becomes clear that there’s something different here. It’s difficult to explain exactly why it’s different than a typical blog or social network because the heart of their service relies on users posting and commenting, which are the same ingredients they all share in common. However, Tokoni has managed to wrapped several new concepts around this common theme."
